Punjabi Samosa
Appetizers, hors d'oeuvres, side dishes, dim sum, tapas, mezzes, whatever they are called, its my favorite part of a meal!
I recently hosted an all appetizer party! It was a huge hit! I enjoyed the cooking and the presenting! It was out of the ordinary and fun!
The next few blogs will be some great appetizer recipes that I have collected over the years!
Samosa is a popular Indian snack that is enjoyed by everyone! This snack can be either baked or fried. Enjoy it with either ketchup or sweet date chutney.
Recipe courtsey of Sanjeev Kapoor

Keep, covered with a damp napkin, for ten to fifteen minutes. Heat two tablespoons of olive oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and when they start to change colour, add ginger, green chillies and potatoes. Stir and add red chilli powder, dry mango powder, garam masala powder and salt to taste. Stir well.
I had made these and put them in little colorful Chinese take out containers for my son's teacher who loved Indian food!
My kids love samosas and will surprisingly devour them no matter how spicy they are!!
Until next time....
XOXO
